Asia Blazes Path For Global Recovery: Vietnam Deputy PM

TOKYO (Nikkei)--Nguyen Thien Nhan, deputy prime minister of Vietnam, said Thursday Asian economies, which have achieved a sharp improvement, are getting a head start on global economic recovery.

At the 16th International Conference on the Future of Asia, hosted by The Nikkei through Friday, Nhan said the Association of Southeast Asian Nations is attracting direct investment through each nation's policies promoting business activity.
