Inclusive Econ Structure Imperative: Ex-BOJ Official Muto

TOKYO (Nikkei)--Former Bank of Japan deputy governor Toshiro Muto emphasized the importance of creating an inclusive regional economic structure in Asia, during a panel discussion at the annual Future of Asia forum here Thursday.

Strengthening cooperation among Asian countries would "boost the ratio of regional commerce to overall trade, and heighten economic self-reliance in the region," he said.
